Change to the Site – Comments
In an effort to encourage comments on the articles, we’re removing the required registration. Readers will now be able to comment on articles without registering on our site. However, readers will still be required to fill out a name and email to post a comment.
The primary reason we required registration was to prevent spam posts in the comments sections. Registration keeps out 95% of the spam. If spam becomes a problem with open comments, then we’ll change it back. But for now, we’ll leave it open.
We just want to hear some feedback from our readers. Do you agree with our opinions? Do you have any additional insight? Do you have feedback on the types of articles you want to read? These are all things that we want to hear about from you guys. So let us hear you!

Major blog sites (like Autoblog, for example) require registration. A few other blogs that I’ve been involved in had spam trouble and had to resort to registration-only comments. That’s why we did that here.
But as long as the spam doesn’t get out of control, we’ll keep it pretty open.
